To allow everyone to discover Castelnaud Castle, a tour has been specially designed for visitors with reduced mobility, who cannot access the monument due to the steep slopes and numerous steps. Equipped with a virtual reality headset, visitors are guided for 30 minutes by a guide in period costume through all the rooms of the castle and can enjoy the rooms and 360° panoramas. A lively and accessible experience, offered free of charge, so that everyone can fully enjoy the richness of our heritage.

Parking spaces reserved for disabled access card holders are located in the village, at the foot of the castle, near the town hall. A reduced rate is offered to people with reduced mobility for the day tour, upon presentation of their card.

Due to the numerous stairs, the interior of the castle is inaccessible to wheelchair users. However, access to the exterior remains free and accessible.

For the visually impaired, or blind, a guide in Braille is available at reception.
