Since 1986, the Château de Castelnaud has been committed to the highest quality of service, placing the experience and satisfaction of its visitors at the heart of its mission.
Until 2025, the Château de Castelnaud proudly held the “Qualité Tourisme” label, a distinction awarded by the french Ministry of Tourism, recognizing the professionalism and excellence of its service.
In 2026, a new milestone was reached: we joined the select group of six tourist sites in the Périgord region to hold the prestigious “Destination d’Excellence” french label.
This recognition acknowledges our ongoing commitment to quality hospitality, heritage preservation, and continuous improvement.
Opening hours
The Château de Castelnaud is open every day year-round. Last admission one hour before closing time.
Christmas holidays: 10 am – 5 pm
Except 25th december: 2 pm – 5 pm
