In addition to the self-guided tour of the museum, the guided outdoor tour delves deeper into the castle’s history. Military architecture, the evolution of attack techniques, and various defense methods will be explored. At the end of the tour, the guide will explain the operation of a trebuchet, the most powerful siege engine of the Middle Ages, built to a 1/3 scale.

Dressed in period costume, the guide greets you at the entrance and, during a gradual ascent, presents the history of the castle and the attack and defense techniques of medieval fortresses. The visit is enhanced by a demonstration of trebuchet firing at 1/3 scale.
